Ryan Lazenbi
Hi I'm Ryan, and I'm afraid of bathtub sharks. I actually have this totally dumb fear that underneath my bathtub is a shark waiting for me to fall through the bottom and eat me. I don't know where this came from, only that it is. For a while I went through a period where I was more afraid of bathtub alligators, and once for a while with snakes, but mostly its the sharks. Now, I've been to construction sites and seen that there is no way for a shark to fit in between the first and second floor of my house, let alone room for it to mantain the constant motion necessary for a shark to survive, yet the fear persists.

I have this fear too! Whenever I'm taking a shower, I have to distract my mind and think about something other than sharks. If I visualize a shark in my mind, I have to get out of the shower. I'll rinse the shampoo out of my hair/soap off of me in the sink if I have to, but I'm not getting back into that shower. Recently, I have had the same fear with snakes in there as well.
And there is no way that I will take a bath. Sitting in a tub of water is like a death wish.
as mentioned, there is no possible way for a shark to fit in someones house 1. undetected, 2. alive, 3. its really gonna jump out of the ocean and what....walk to your crib?? i think we can dismiss that theres any possibility of that happening at all. snakes, however...
I have this exact same fear with baths, pools, hot tubs and toilets!
I have no idea where this fear came from but yet it has stuck with me my whole life!
Also when taking a shower I'm to scared to step on the drain in fear of an evil clown/psycho killer hiding below ready to stab my feet with a needle/knife. (shower is separate tithe bath)
So glad to hear I'm not alone though :)
Oh my god this is so weird! I've had this fear for almost 3 years now! I'm petrified of sharks, so much that i can't even look at a picture of them! But i love bath bombs! But i can't use them! Ahh it sucks!
